Sharing the Flow: Forward new Teams channel posts to Outlook inbox is not working

So I created a Channel in Teams, and I want to make a flow where everyone gets notified via Mail, when anyone posts anything in that Channel. I tried different Version of templates flow, for example:

166698 Forward new Teams channel posts to Outlook inbox
166703 Forward new Teams channel posts to Outlook inbox

My problem is now that those flows are working for me, but when I share them with my Team, or coworker, they don't work for them. They always get the notification that they are added to the flow, but they never recieve the mail.
I think that the problem is, that somewhere in the flow it asks for my mail adress/my information, and if I share the flow, it stills asks for my data, so it only works for the person that created the flow. (we tried all sorts of different approaches, but the flow always only works for the creator)

Since I have like 0 experience with creating flows, can somebody help me fix that problem?

(Yes I know, technically every Person in my team could just implement the flow themself, but I want an easier solution for that, and initailly it looked like it that I just can share the flow thats working for me, but its only working for me and nobody else :( )

Thanks for sharing this. Could you show your flow? I'm having trouble understanding why the e-mail can't simply be addressed to everyone on your team. Seeing the flow might help clarify what you're trying to achieve.

And just speaking personally and from my experience, I’d prefer not to receive both a Teams notification and an e-mail for the same update. One of the main goals of using Teams channels is to reduce e-mail clutter and streamline communication. Doubling up on notifications can feel redundant and may actually contribute to the very overload Teams is designed to help us avoid.

There’s quite a bit of research and guidance that supports this approach:
    • Microsoft Teams is designed to replace much of internal e-mail, offering a centralized, searchable, and collaborative space for team communication. It helps avoid fragmented conversations and lost context that often happen in e-mail threads, which you can read at https://www.acutec.co.uk/blog/how-to-reduce-email-with-microsoft-teams.
    • Priority Management, a global training organization, reports that adopting Teams best practices can reduce internal e-mail volume by 50–75%, significantly improving productivity and reducing stress, which you can read at Stop the Email Nightmare. Use Microsoft Teams for Improved Efficiency.
    • Studies show that email overload negatively impacts team morale, focus, and decision-making, especially when messages are duplicated or unclear, which can be read at https://www.trimbox.io/blog/reduce-team-email-overload. Using Teams channels for updates and discussions helps keep communication focused and accessible to everyone involved.

Of course, the final decision is up to you and your team.
