Adding knowledge using file upload - stuck at In Progress

I'm trying to add Department Training and Approved devices files as knowledge sources to my agent as per the required steps. 
 
However, both files are getting stuck at In Progress after successful upload and the status does not change to Ready. It stayed like that for 3 hours and then the Status changed to Failed. 
 
I'm trying to add both one by one to see if it's faster but the status still shows In progress for the Training file. 
 
Any idea how to fix this?
